My husband and I are staying at the Burasari for six nights after staying at another Patong hotel. From the moment we arrived in the airy, spacious foyer which is decorated in traditional Thai elegance, we knew we were in for a very special experience. The staff greeted us with warmth and respect, provided us with welcome drinks, a cold cloth for our hot faces and a fresh orchid corsage. The foyer looks out to one of the two swimming pools, cleverly designed around cascading water features and lush vegetation, providing an oasis of serenity from the bustle and heat outside on the streets of Patong. We were ushered to our room, one of the Honeymoon set, which provided a very comfortable King size bed, lounge area, luxury bathroom, free mini bar and sliding doors leading out to our own private courtyard. Outside, comfy lounging chairs and a deep bath complete this couples retreat. The courtyard is our rear entry, & leads out to more waterways linked by walkways and bridges. The sound of running water and the happy chatter of the resident African Parrot soothe the soul instantly. The entire atmosphere is cool, green, shady relaxation. Plenty of sun beds for the sun worshippers, Happy Hour at the swim up Pool Bar & the Misty Bar, comprehensive buffet breakfast catering for all tastes, 6 different food & beverage outlets made our stay so we enjoyable we preferred not to go out, having done all our sightseeing the previous week. We were just so happy & content being here soaking up the atmosphere. All the staff are delightful, friendly and helpful. We had fabulous cocktails and fun with Kwang, Peaw, Joe and Pin at the Pool Bar. Thanks for the memories, guys!
Staff were amazing, honeymoon suite was incredible! Inclusions were fantastic and the location was perfect. Yummy buffet breakfast!
The Burasari is a hidden gem amongst the chaos of Patong. Right in the middle of the action, but once you are through the doors of the entrance the noise and hubbub of the Patong business fades away and all you can hear is cascading water and birdsong. Our welcome at reception was incredible (and this was carried through to every staff member we came into contact with, with everyone greeting us and giving us the traditional Wai (slight bow with palms pressed together) though out our stay. We were given a Honeymoon collection room, which was incredible and had a fantastic outdoor bath and 7ft bed (one of the most comfortable Ive slept on in Thailand). The food was superb and the hotel breakfast was pretty spectacular with a heap of options to suit all palate. I can highly recommend the pool bar and the large pool is fantastic. I will definitely stay at this hotel (or any of its sister hotels) again!
