Pool bar and happy hour, no complaints here, drinks were very reasonably priced and the 2 for 1 during happy hour was great too. The bar staff Kuan and Joe were so friendly and were always up for cracking a joke, always laughing and smiling. The staff are amazing.
Our friends, my husband and I arrived at the Burasari around 4.30am our time (Aus) after a long flight... We were greeted with a huge smile upon arriving a cool drink and fresh cool cloth. Just what we needed.. Perfect... After being shown to our room, it was cool, clean and smelt amazing... After waking in the morning and stepping out onto our balcony, somehow I knew I had come home!!! The resort was beautiful.... and in a prime location. 50 metres from the beach and a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Patong. Once again I was greeted with a huge smile from the pool staff going about their business, and then greeted with smiles and hugs from the Pool Bar staff.. Kwang, Jo & Peaw, you made this vacation... I have never felt so accepted.. I cant thank these 3 people enough. Every morning without fail, a huge smile and hug and the service they provided was excellent. Breakfast is the morning was amazing.. a huge array of food, that was fresh and delicious... We stayed for 15 nights and never once had an issue... The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you.... I highly recommended The Burasari Resort if the vacation you are looking for is one for relaxation, friendly and you want to be looked after ..... We cant wait to get back there... See you all again next year... Once again thank you to Jo, Peaw and Kwang... I now have a family in Thailand...
We ended up eating at Kantok twice in our week and a half in Patong and is was excellent both times - the stand out meals during our trip. We selected one of the meal options, and whilst more expensive than other restaurants, it was well worth it. The massaman curry was the standout dish for me, the desert is also worth a mention! The service was excellent and the restaurant itself looks really beautiful. The wine was lovely but definitely overpriced (like in most places in Patong). Unfortunately for our second visit we wanted to go to the quiz night but it had been cancelled. Highly recommend.
