“Worth to try”
Reviewed October 15, 2012
We tried to have dinner here because of the recommendation from receptionist of Spa at Burasari. The place is nice, candle is everywhere, romantic and comfy... They provide authentic thai cuisine and also western selection. Price is okay, food is nice, service is cool.. We got 10% discount because of we made spa appointment at Burasari. |

What can I say, we have ruined all future holidays by staying here in an Elite Pool Access Room.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed 8 nights here. The buffet breakfast is awesome and has everything.
Even though you are in Patong, when you are sitting by the pool, you fell you could be on a deserted island.
Great location to walk too the beach, the shops or up to Bangla Road at night for a few drinks |

Like a tucked away paradise
Friendly and helpful staff and value for money.
We've been travelling to Phuket, mainly Patong, several times a times a year for the past 15 years. Have tried numerous hotels and resorts and we must say Burasari is going to be one of our favourite. Love the serenity, even though they are fully booked. Breakfast spread was good but could do better with a rotation. The staff are friendly and ready to serve at all time. We will definitely recommend friends and come back again.

Room was Great
OMG!!! This place is gorgeous from the rooms (ours was a pool access room which included replenished mini bar every day.) to the staff, the breakfast and the pools, even the beds were great. The place had a gorgeous smell all the time. They supplied mozzie spray in your room.Thank you. Soft towels and massive beds you can sleep in, not on. The room and bathroom is very spacious. Not one NOISE from the outside world at all, once we were in our room. We had room service one day and the food was amazing. Our room maid was gorgeous, with a smiling face even cleaning our messy room. We loved the Burasari and We will be going back again. |

A Wonderful Hotel that is close to everything.
Room was Great
What can I say the Burasari is a wonderful hotel and the staff were very friendly especially front desk was great. The room we had was fantastic it was an "Elite Pool Access Room" which had a large bathroom with double sinks, a huge King Size Bed which was very comfortable and the free mini bar which was replenished every day. The breakfast, which we had included in our booking, was amazing with a huge variety of things to choose from but I must say we loved the egg station where your eggs are cooked to your liking while you wait and the Omlette is a must try as this was very yummy. This was our 7th trip to Phuket and each time we have tried a different hotel but I must say although they have all been great this was one of our favorites. The Burasari is close to the beach and shopping and only a short stroll to all the action at night on Bangla Road. We will be definately be staying here again, we loved it !!! |

“Absolutely beautiful place to stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012
My husband and I stayed in a pool access room in the Dara Wing of the resort for 5 days. The room was lovely, with dark wood, exotic styled room and walk in straight from our back door verandah with our own sun lounge.
The only thing to be mindful of, is that there are newer pool access rooms in the other wing surrounding the main pool which do look a LOT nicer, so if you have the choice and it's not too much more expensive i would try and upgrade to these instead.
The resort itself has EVERYTHING you would ever need. Great service, we never waited anymore than 5 mins in reception, or any of the bars and restaurants, and always greeted with a smile - which to me goes a long way! The resort is decked out with the best decor i felt like it was a little hideaway from busy Patong.
We had lunch and dinner from Kantok a couple of nights, and the food is FANTASTIC! And quite reasonably priced considering it is a resort. We also drank at the bar and pool bar both with happy hours from 2 to 8pm for cocktails etc. All rooms should be paid for complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, the mini bar in each room is FREE and is restocked daily. I loved this concept! Free wifi and you just get a slip of paper with the code so you can use in the rooms and around the pool etc.
The resort is a little bit of a walk from Bangla Road - main road for bars, ping pong, restaurants etc, however, we did the walk and it was probably about 10-15 mins strolling. We also caught tuktuks a couple of nights too being lazy, it'll cost you around 100-200 baht each way.
The resort is also only a 2 minute walk across the road to the Patong Beach if you prefer the beach to the resort pool. |

The hotel is quiet but is very close to the beach and nightlife.
This hotel is very nice and is only about two minutes from Patong beach and only a 10 minute walk to Bangla road if you are not distracted too much by the many suit makers along the way. The wireless internet works well and there are even three laptops available downstairs for use. The breakfast is great and includes a good mix of Thai and Western food. |

“Excellent boutique hotel” Reviewed October 7, 2012
This was our 6th visit and we were not disappointed our choice is always a Thai elite room with a balcony and day bed, so that if required we can rest without being in air conditioning and even if it is raining it is still very pleasant. We were welcomed back with beautiful flowers, excellent wine and a hand written card from the Manager. The breakfast was very good and the staff as always smiling, very helpful and pleasant. Our room was always very well looked after and on our last day we received a complimentary late check out, fresh towels and asked if we required our mini bar replacing. After 10 days it is still hard to leave and of course we will return.

“A great getaway!”
Reviewed October 11, 2012
This was my husband's first time to Asia, so after a busy trip to Hong Kong meeting the family, we decided to head to Phuket for a relaxing adventure. The Burasari didn't disappoint. We stayed in the Elite pool access room. The room had a king size bed, a big bath tub with a handheld shower as well as an overhead shower and of course, the day bed and the pool access made it that much sweeter! The room was relatively quiet considering how close to the strip we were. It was nice being able to walk out and lay on the day bed where we enjoyed a few naps :)
Upon arrival, Tum, the bellboy, was very welcoming and excited to see us. Every day we were there, he greated us with a big welcoming smile. Everyone at the resort was incredibly kind and welcoming.
On our last day, I decided to visit the spa and all I can say is amazing. I was greeted with a drink and quickly whisked away into a private room. The massage was to die for and the full treatment was everything I could have wished for and more! When I left the spa I felt like butter! It was very clean, very quiet and peaceful.
The Burasari is only steps away from the beach. The hotel was very clean and very convenient. The service was amazing, the food was perfect! Make sure you have the green prawn curry and tom yum goong at the Kantok!
Overall, my husband agrees, this was the perfect hotel for our first trip together to Phuket!

Beautiful Oasis in heart of Patong
Room, Pool
When I arrived I was told the Elite Pool Access room I had booked was unavailable..I was offered a Honeymoon suite but found it was dark with little sunshine, I ended up taking the Blue Breeze Mood Room.. Though it was located on the street side it was huge, lots of sunlight, jacuzzi, deck, large flat screen tv and complimentary wifi.. I was very happy with the room and facilities as well the staff were very helpful.. The food was top quality. I suggest paying the extra for the breakfast as you won't find a better restaurant in the area. As for the area, it's very touristy, lots of people, lots of over priced restaurants serving poor quality food.. If Burger King et al is your taste than you'll be happy..there is an alley off Walking Street with good Thai food.. In the end I would suggest this hotel if you and you're partner are looking for lazy days of room service, beach, pool and Spa treatments..

Fantastic hotel so glad I found it!!
Clean , Quiet, Friendly staff, the best breakfast hands down, awesome pools, comfortable beds, I could go on and on and on !
From the time I moved into my room I was just so much more relaxed than in the other hotels that I had stayed at. Its so close to all the action but its quiet at night so if I felt like just staying in early I was never disturbed. I so looked forward to waking up and having breakfast as it was fantastic and the staff were really friendly and all had smiles on their faces. I loved talking to the parrot down near the tourist desk and I loved hearing him from my room making funny noises ...please don't take him away.. he rocks! The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, free mini-bar, wow what more do you want when your on a relaxing holiday. I would love to stay there again next time I'm in Phuket which will be sooner than later. |

“Really, Really good Hotel.”

Normally a botched airport transfer as I had with Burasari would be enough for a bad review, but this is a fabulous Hotel with great location, fabulous staff and relaxed atmosphere and the missed transfer booking was a genuine oversight.
Burasari's rooms are HUGE, stylishly decorated and all either overlooking or (I kid you not) attached to the swimming pool.
I had the Elite Thai room as they had no pool access rooms available.. This was not a big deal as the Elite Thai was fabulous.
The hotel is open plan and the pool is everywhere. There is even a bar that you swim into (see my photos).
Plants and small garden areas engulf every spare space giving a real jungle feel to the open areas.
Breakfast is excellent with extensive choice of Asian and European Cuisine. The main bar serves bar food throughout the day at reasonable prices. Drinks are not cheap, but they are reasonably priced considering the classy surroundings. Happy hour is long and offers ood deals on cocktails and local beer. The bar is comfortable and has large couches to relax and unwind on.
The staff are curtious and professional. I ended up extending my stay after a break in Phi-Phi and the hotel looked after my main luggage whilst I was away with no bother at all.
My daughter uses a wheelchair.
All spaces are easily accessible and staff were very attentive to offer assistance wherever possible. This hotel is great value for money and great for couples, solo and famillies of all ages.

Recently stayed at this hotel for 11 nights in August 2012. On arrival we received a complimentary upgrade to an Elite room. The room was spotless, and had a balcony overlooking the pool. Staff were always friendly. Breakfast is amazing, large variety of food each day with the hot food options regularly changing. This hotel is in a great location, literally 50 metres to the beach, and a 10 minute walk from the craziness of Bangla road. Wouldn't stay anywhere else on my next visit to Patong. My friend used the spa facilities and said it was the best massage she had ever had. The only slight negative I have is that there are only about 20 sun lounges in total for the 2 pools, and with so many guests staying, many people missed out on a lounge and had to sit on the concrete.

Me andmy friend loved the Burasari- it was close to our hotel (Patong Merlin) and they had a special on when we went to enquire about prices.
We got 30 mins in steam room, bodyscrub & mask, full body massage, vichy shower. All up about 3 hours and it cost us approx. $140 Australian dollars-whereas in Australia this would cost you nearly$500!
The ladies were really lovely and made me feel like a queen. Me and my friend were treated in the same room (couples room) but the ladies were very discreet and didnt talk to each other which was great. Highly recommend this spa!

I like this hotel very much, everything started from airport pickup, the hotel sent a nice big car with very cold and mint flavour towel, to fresh us up after a long flying journey. The hotel is just sitting next to patong beach, very convenient, easy to access to any food and shops. The outlook of the hotel looks very authentic and thai style, the reception is very friendly, served us the welcome drinks, and also sent us some fruits. The room is just nice, well design, with a balcony facing the pool. They provided very professional services to us, help us up in almost any request. Also Nui for keeping our rooms so clean and tidy. Also Kwang in the bar taking grate pride in his work. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. This place is close to every thing with a 7eleven right next door. Thankyou all for making our stay such a good one!

My wife and I found this place in the airport through one of the booths that book rooms. However don't book through them they are way over priced we ended up getting a better room for $25 a night less than they quoted. We stayed in the sangria room witch was awesome it had a wrap around deck with a suspend bed and a outdoor jacuzzi it doesn't overlook the pool or anything but the room and aminties where excellent. breakfast is including and very good. We had a couples massage in the spa very relaxing it is more comfortable then going to one of the places on the strip. The pool is beautiful with a great swim up bar if you are going to patong beach stay here. |

Lovely Hotel and great facilities
Spa, Rooms, Pool, Staff
Burasari has one of the best Spas in Phuket and any one visiting Patong area must definitely pay a visit, the rooms are big enough with good amenities. Are room was a pool access room to the second swimming pool which is just great. The breakfast is good with enough choices for the stay. The Hotel staff is fairly amicable making the stay pleasant. Also, the hotel has close proximity to the beach and other prominent areas of Patong which is a bonus. Overall a definite stay once . |

Absolutely loved it
Friendly and Polite Staff
We loved our stay at Burasari and will definately go back if we return to Patong. We were picked up via hotel transfer from airport in an airconditioned car with bottles of cold water and cold face clothes - perfect after our flight and heat after travelling! The hotel was tucked away so we werent expecting it when the hotel driver dopped us off. Gave off a very traditional relaxed thai feel. staff are very obliging with all requests. free wi fi and complimentary mini bar daily saved us the trek of lugging bottles of water back to the room as cannot drink local tap water. we had the "Sangia Delight" mood collection room - wow! loved it so awesome was like a little home away from home - the only downside was that it was located outside the hotel near the entrance so not a noce view but was not yoo joisy. The hotel food was also very tasty and well priced - recommend to get the daily buffet breakfast they cook you eggs as per your request at their egg station! and the juice bar is also yummy. The hotel location also great, one minute to the beach and about 5 mins to Bangla Rd and shops. |

“A Slice of Heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012
We just loved this place and the staff are wonderful especially Nan on reception. We were given a premier room which was lovely but had a view of a brick wall so Nan showed us what other rooms were available and we chose an Elite Thai room with a view of the pool. We had to pay a little bit extra but were given more than a 50% discount. The room was just awesome with a huge bed, a day bed and a balcony. it was decorated in Thai style which made us feel really special. The pools are lovely and shady and never crowded and you can't reserve the sunbeds with towels as people do in some hotels.Breakfast was a huge smorgasbord with everything you could wish for, easy to fill up and not need lunch. Location is perfect and the tour stand just up the road in the chemist shop gave us 50-60% discount on what the hotel was charging and our trips all went very smoothly. You can e-mail me on scott-janet@vodafone.co.nz with any questions about the Burasari or Patong and I will be glad to help if I can. We stayed for 7 nights 8-15 June 2012. Massages on the beach are excellent, we paid 150THB for half an hour.

Very happy!

Very personal and boutique hotel, incredibly attentive and caring staff, as per Thai culture in general.
Breakfasts were great with huge range of fresh food every day, stay away from the pasta dishes from the restaurants but that should be a given in Thailand, pizzas were quite tasty.
Bar staff (Duonne in particular) were great company every night, serving 2 for 1 coctails, always a good start to the night!
Pool was good, room was ok (older wing) but probably good value for money. Bathrooms probably the only real downfall but they did the job. I'd imagine in the newer wings these would be updated and quite modern.
In general we were very happy with the hotel and would definitely recommend! |

“A Gem In Chaotic and Hedonistic Patong Beach”
Reviewed July 4, 2012 NEW
This hotel is situated towards the south end of Patong beach and is about 40 yards away from the actual beach, so a very easy 30-45 second walk to the beach.
The hotel is absolutely incredible. The service from when I arrived in my taxi until checkout was amazing. My room was gorgeous and I loved the feel of the hotel, kind of a maze-like feel (although very, very easy to navigate). The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and was included in my room rate. The items in the minibar were free and were restocked everyday.
Another thing I liked was that the hotel was in the perfect location in visit the beach (like I said, 30-45 seconds away) and about 10 minutes away from the nightlife on Bangla Road. So, it was easy to walk down to Bangla, have a lot of fun at the bars/clubs, and then walk home. I would recommend one the Red Hot Club at the end of Bangla. I had zero interest in the go-go bars and the like on Bangla but the Red Hot Club was great, with live music and sheesha (or hookah, depending on what you like to call it). If you are walking down Bangla from the beach, it is the very end of Bangla on the right hand side. Also, a few doors before there is a bar with a patio that has great deals on Carlsburg (3 for just over $4 US). I didn't get the name of it, but they have a barbershop inside but I only hung out at the patio bar. And, they have someone standing in front of the bar watching guard, so you don't get hassled by the touts and street merchants trying to sell you things. |

I stayed on a holiday with my frient here. Two of us (Guys) just loved the stay at this hotel. the ambience is quite good and serene, there are seperate pools at the hotels, right in the middle of the hotel infact right outside some rooms, its walkable distance from the beach so even better. In fact the stay here was far comfortable to complain anythin about. There are other known 5 star hotels near to this on the same road, But try this on my reco. Even the staff here is good, however english speaking is slightly a challenge. |

We stayed at this hotel for four days... the location was excellent as it was only a two minute walk to the beach, all the hustle and bustle of markets and the bars and restaurants. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained with two nice pools. Getting a sun lounger can prove difficult as there are so few. The service was very good as was the choice of food at breakfast. Also there was free wifi which is always a bonus.
We did make use of the spa on site for a massage and the whole experience was very good. |

“Sanctuary...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012 NEW
Burasari is undoubtedly a great place to stay... you can really unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of crazy Patong (gotta love it though). There's two pool areas, one doesn’t see much sun but is a great place to relax...can get quite busy though. The other pool sees sun for the first half of the day, but they aren’t too many sun beds, so you need to get in quick.. or you'll be off to the beach if you want to work on the tan.
The food is great and very reasonable priced...great for when you just want to chill at the resort and you have to love a place that tops your mini bar up for free every day ?
Service was exceptional, very friendly and everyone only too happy to help.
We stayed in the Elite Pool Access which was also great...the bathrooms are probably due for an upgrade...but that’s just being a little picky.
Overall, a great place to stay and would recommend it.
Tip. Ask for a non-smoking room, as there had clearly been someone smoking in our room before we got there.
Also, best to ask if they are doing any renovations as there was a bit of work happening when we were there...nothing too intrusive, but just some work during the day.
Cheers |

“A boutique haven in a sea of big boring resorts in Patong”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012 NEW via mobile
This is our third stay at Buasari in the past 3 years. The staff welcomed us back like family. It is not 5 star but it is a quaint & quirky boutique hotel central to the beach, markets, jungceylon, & the walking street. The day spa is excellent as is the bar food & the new salad grill cafe. Our room - elite pool access - was more than fine (a little outdated but adds to quirkiness). The breakfast is great with a huge variety to cater for all nationalities. Kantook's meals, the restaurant which replaced Floyds, were not as good as we expected them to be - hopefully they'll fix this soon as it was the only detraction from another wonderful stay. |

Superb location. Also very nice hotel, but they need to clean the leaves from the pool that keep falling due to the trees and plants surrounding the pool area.
Food at Kantok is outstanding. Specially for us since we are vegetarian. The Thai curry was the best I have had till date. |

Requested if they can allocated the 2nd room for 29 July next to my room and and this was made possible by the receptionist. Enjoy my stay ,clean rooms and good staff. Breakfast presentation and variety and taste could be improved to a international quality. Breads and coffee not up to standards including the hot items. Overall will still return due to the nice clean and lovely resort. But please improved the breakfast quality.

“Fantastic stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012 NEW
I travelled with my friends who are a married couple, we visited Koh Samui for a friends wedding and then wanted to continue our holiday in Phuket. I was surprised how long the drive was from Phuket airport to Patong! The travel agent hadn't told us it would be a 45 minute drive.
We checked into the hotel on 12th June around noon. We were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful hotel lobby and how friendly the staff were. Cold towels and drink on arrival was certainly unexpected but we loved it.
We were shown to our room where two staff assisted with our bags up the stairs. One look in the room and I was disappointed. Two single beds, two towels, two robes, everything for two people. I went to reception and advised there were three adults. They advised a small rollaway bed would be brought up to us. I enquired if we could pay extra to be upgraded. For 4000THB (4 nights stay) we were upgraded to a poolview room that was much bigger and more comfortable. We loved the room. I can't remember the number though! There was a lift on this side of the hotel which made it much easier with our shopping everyday :)
The pools were beautiful, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The resturants and bars were nice too. Breakfast every morning was sensational! There were renovations going on below us for the pool rooms but this didn't affect us as it was between 9am and 5pm and we were always out.
The spa was under renovation so we were unable to get pampered! They were very helpful though and directed us to another spa.
The travel desk woman was lovely and helpful when we booked our driver with her to visit Phuket Zoo, Big Buddha, Butterfly Garden etc.
The location of the hotel is great, right next to the beach, right in the heart of the shopping! The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the staff are so helpful. And the free minibar that was restocked everyday was a pleasant surprise!
Would definitely stay here again! |

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012 NEW
I reviewed this place several years ago when I was staying next door. I tried it a year later whilst on business, liked it and returned again. The entire place is tranquil, the staff blend in , are pleasant and quiet, not over the top but there if you need them. The breakfast and the surrounding eating area is superb, open air and fine. The food is always good quality and sufficient if you wish to eat in. The swimming areas are segregated insofar as there is an open and relatively comfortable 1.4 metre deep pool whilst the other more expensive (room) end has external pool seating adjacent to rooms or an island like pool. An unobtrusive young parrot will keep you entertained without being obtrusive. Pool tables and external bar and barbecue. The entire area is given to luxurious overhanging tree growth. Didnt see a single gecko nor mosquito. No problems in the room. Only issue we had , had nothing to do with the hotel, rather a clients screamer of a child-- limited parental control. Located to south end of Patong Beach about 100 metres from the beach front.

Friendliness of staff, especially staff of the spa, the location is very strategic because it is close to shopping mall, close to the beach (Just walk about 200 meters), easy to search for food, massage and nightlife ... This hotel is very suitable for young couples and young adult groups.
Slightly audible noise from the room, as close to the nightlife. Hotel location is less suited to families who bring young children, because it is very close to adult entertainment. Need special attention from parents to their children that stay there. |

This is a fantastic hotel. I stayed in one of the Elite rooms. The rooms are spacious and well-planned. Service is top-notch right from the welcome drink of juice from the Burasari flower to check-out. The location is great too - a two minute walk to the beach. The umbrellas and beach towels provided were very handy and the free minibar was a welcome surprise. The decor is incredible - plants everywhere and flowing water. Breakfast at the hotel's Kantok Restaurant every morning was a great experience. Great decor and very relaxing. I also tried out a massage at a spa. Having never done this before, I had no idea what I was in for. The masseuse was brilliant, her instructions were easy to understand and the experience was very relaxing. Had a great time. If I return to Patong, I'm definitely staying here again.

Staff were very helpful. Beautiful room, excellent location quite near the beach and the hustle bustle of the town, the area we stayed in was nice and quiet. My son informed them that it was our anniversary, and the staff gave a beautiful touch, and gave us a honeymoon room with flowers on the bed and a cake, which was a nice gesture.
The breakfast was just brilliant, different choices everyday and delicious food. Room was clean, house keeping were very good, kept the room clean.Decor of the room complimented the environment and area of Phuket. Very traditional, yet modern. Staff were friendly and helpful.
A great gem, that was very very good value for money. |

“AMAZING! BEST RESORT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2012 NEW
The photos provided do not even do this place justice! It is stunning - with amazing gardens, pools, and rooms - this resort is a must-stay! Patong Beach was not even that nice as a town, but we were happy just to stay at this resort most of our days as it was so nice
The staff were helpful, professional and friendly, and most spoke good English too. The food was great and the spa was fabulous too! It is in a good location, an easy stroll to the centre of town, and great value.
A+++++++ it was the highlight of our Thailand trip! |

“an Oasis in the "Crazy Town" of Patong Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2012
This was our second visit to Patong Beach and our return stay at Burasari. We love this resort you walk into Burasari and escape the craziness of Patong Beach with the constant requests for Massages, Taxis, Suites and DVD's. Again we had a pool access room which is perfect for us. We can just slip into the pool when we like directly from our patio or day bed. The room has a very XL King bed, large TV, Free daily minibar including beer.
I would say what makes the stay most memorable are the staff. Their English is quite good and very knowledable in local customs, local attractions and restaurants as well as information regarding Burasari Resort. A few of the staff remembered us from our last visit, they remebered where we were from and which room we stayed in last visit. They are very polite and friendly and pleased to have a chat in English. Included in our stay was a very extensive Buffet Breakfast including Western and Thai food served in the restaurant surrounded by a rainforest style garden . A great way to stay the day.
I would thoroughly recommend Burasari Reseort, Patong Beach to anyone. You will enjoy your stay in a very comfortable and well appointed Hotel which can boast fantastic staff. |

Phuket is a great place to holiday and this hotel is great value for money if not the best.
The location was fantastic and the ambience exotic. loved our stay. It was much better than expected. We took the Elite room which was large and faced the pool and had an extra bed in the balcony overlooking the pool. it was a great place to sit. I would recommend to go a step further and take a ground floor Elite room with a private access to the pool. Just open the door and walk into the pool any time. The breakfast spread was sumptuous. I rate it better than the Holiday inn right opposite. Enjoy your stay.... And thanks Expedia :).
Also, hire a mobile and take a ride to the Karon and Kata beaches. They are great too. |

“WOW! breathtaking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012 NEW
My partner and I stayed at Burasari Resort in February 2009 and absolutely LOVED it. We had a pool access room with our own private decking out back with a day bed, and were only a small swim away from the swim up bar. We could just slip into the pool from our back steps and it was never busy/overcrowded. The decking area in the middle of the front pool was so relaxing to sit back on the sun chairs and have a (cheap!) cocktail. We were welcomed to the hotel with a seat and iced tea while the team booked us in, and were then escorted to our room and shown around. The included buffet breakfast each morning was to die for, with a chef on hand to cook your eggs on the spot however you like. The spread was always amazing and the service was perfect. The staff were so helpful with directions, booking tours/transport and in offering advice. The bed was HUGE and could fit a small army!
It is a fantastic location with just a small walk to the beach, markets, shops and main patong drag, yet you can escape the hustle and bustle of busy patong beach. I would definitely stay here if I was to visit Patong again, and recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in this area. Can not fault the experience - made us feel so welcome for our first time overseas in a foreign place at a young age! |

Fantastic Hotel - Peaceful in the heart of Patong
this hotel was lovely. beautiful surrounds, gracious and extremely helpful staff and the best possible location. this resort has blended modern amenities with thai style in a really charming way. its located very close to both the holiday inn and the marriott, and we were so glad we didnt opt for one of those sterile large chains. the elite pool access rooms are well worth the small amount extra you pay, with a private deck and day bed, with steps leading right out to the beautiful pool and water features. huge bathroom with a tub for 2. the room servicing was impeccable, but if you required anything, it was at your door within seconds and delivered with a smile. the kantok restaurant on site does a great breakfast, but there are better options for thai and western food for dinner. kantok dinner quality was average, but there are better, cheaper food options in patong. |

Friendly staff, elegant traditional Thai decor
We stayed in Burasari for 4 days and then went to try another hotel for 3 days, but in the end decided to come back and stay in Burasari for another few days as it was that good! All staff are very friendly, there are smiles wherever you go! It's a perfect sanctuary amongst the hustle and bustle of Patong. Perfectly located, close to the beach as well as Bangla rd, plenty of restaurants, convenient shops. We are definitely staying at Burasari again if we ever go back to Phuket! |

“Great Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012 NEW
My partner and I stayed a Burasari Resport in April. The staff were wonderful, room was very clean and the location was perfect for us, easy to walk to Bangla Road and Jungcheylon shopping centre. We visited when the tsunami warning was on, upon our return to the hotel we were ushered to the back and the staff had prepared meals for all the guests as Patong restaurants were all closed. We were very grateful, our friends were staying in another hotel not far away and they were given no news, no food, in fact one friend was left sleeping in her room and was unaware that the place had evacuated. Well done Burasari, my daughter and family will be staying there in November on our recommendation. If I spread the word too far and wide I may not be able to get in myself!! Breakfast was terrific as well. Thank you egg man. |

“Lovely Thai-style boutique hotel in the heart of Patong”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2012
Situated in a side street off the main drag of Patong, this lovely, traditional but modern style hotel/resort is in the perfect location for anyone wishing to experience the hustle and bustle of this very exciting island.
The hotel staff were very welcoming and always willing to assist us with our daily plans in any way. It's a large hotel with two separate pool areas. We were there at a very busy time of the year, but breakfast time is really the only time that you see lots of other people around the place.
We stayed in a Premier Elite room on the top (3rd) floor that had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. The room itself was very large and spacious with excellent air-con that kept us cool out of the humidity. The bed was HUGE and very comfortable. The bathroom had two basins which is always a luxury when sharing with a partner! The room was cleaned every day however the maid did throw out a few of our drinks that we were saving from the fridge!
Breakfast was good each day, although a larger selection of muffins and sweet treats would have been appreciated. We didn't attend any treatments at the in-house spa, mainly due to the higher prices - a massage or facial at one of the MANY salons in the area is much cheaper and a better option for most tourists.
Overall, a wonderful stay at the Burasari - I would definitely go back (but this time I would book a Pool Access room!).

I had stayed in this location before the tsunami and I was pleasantly surprised to return to find what is now the Burasari Resort. The pool was fantastic and the rooms were lovely. We were there for our honeymoon and were greeted to our room with rose petals and a honeymoon cake even though the reservation was made only the day prior. The pool bar was great. Would definately return here. We also stayed at a hotel close by to this one and was very disappointed in that hotel after our great service at Burasari.

“My kind of hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2012
recently stayed at this hotel and what a delight it was. On arrival we were told by the friendly staff that we had been upgraded from Premier to Elite rooms. I was a bit wary of this but agreed to view the rooms. When I was shown mine I was very happy with it. My friends were also very happy with their room.
My room was very spacious and had a lovely very large bed in it. It was decorated to perfection and had some lovely furniture in it. It also had a very nice bathroom (no problems with hot water or water pressure here). The bathroom also had two large beach towels which were changed everyday (very handy if you do actually use them at the beach as we did). To top it all off it had a large balcony which had a comfortable day bed in it. All this overlooked an area dominated by vegetation (in a nice way).
There is a small complimentary mini bar which consisted mainly of soft drinks (only 1 can of beer). This is refreshed daily. Now for the wow factor - the breakfasts were amazing. There was so much choice and it was all fresh food. My breakfasts consisted of four courses ( I like breakfasts!) and each was a pleasure eating. The staff at the hotel are not only very friendly but are helpful too.
Overall I would say that the hotel exudes a certain charm which won me over. With this hotel you do really get what you pay for and that's fantastic value for money.

PS - The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the beach. |

We have recently returned from the Burasari and just loved our time there! Meters from the beach and at the other end of the streets the large market area. Also about 10 minutes to JungCeylon and Bangla Rd for some drinks and laughs! We were lucky enough to stay in an Elite Pool Access room and it was just what we needed! Beautiful pool and so lovely to have such a big day bed, which our 1 year old son loved to play on! Large room with huge bed and great big flat screen TV. Loved the bathroom with the dual basins. Small problem with water coming onto the floor from the sill around the bath, but we were not too bothered. Great cot provided for our son to sleep in too. Breakfast was yummy, with a great selection of western and local options and the egg chef made delicious omlettes and poached eggs. The wait staff were gorgeous with our son and often whisked him away to meet all of the other staff! He loved them as did we! The hotel has many areas of beautifully kept indoor plants and sculptures which are a beautiful addition to the surroundings. We would also like to thank the two absolutely beautiful ladies who looked after our son in the evening so we could venture out for some couple time - Nuch and Malin, you made a couple of very nervous parents relax even more and we are so greatful for the lovely care you gave Joshua, he thought you were wonderful! We will be back, no doubt about it!!!

Stayed at the Burasari resort for 10 nights in March and it was exactly what we needed. The gardens and pools are so nice and charming and the staff go out of their way to please. The food was great and super fresh, especially in Naughty Radish! They did not have Vegemite (as a true Aussie, I cant do without in the mornings) so was speaking with the Australia manager and mentioned it and believe it or not he bought me in a tube that he had at home! amazing:)
Overall would totally recommend it if you are looking for a calming hotel in Patong with amazing can do service. Thank you Burasari and see you again:)

5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012
Can't really fault this hotel. We stayed in an elite pool elite access room, and it was fantastic. Would highly recommend those rooms. Our group had 6 rooms in total, and everyone was happy. As our children had a sewerage issue in their room on a public holiday, this was dealt with efficiently whilst repairs were carried out (they were relocated to a honeymoon suite for a night - they did not have to move out - they just had 2 rooms for the night). Whilst the honeymoon suites were pleasant, they were not as good as the pool access rooms - in our opinion anyway.
Members of our group also had the Sangria Mood Collection room. This was a great room if the pool access is not of interest. It is a large room and also has a bar area overlooking the street which came in handy at Songkran and for other gatherings for our group where we needed a bit of space. Others in the group had the Elite rooms which were a good size and had a huge daybed on the balcony.
The breakfast was awesome. The staff were great. The location (IMO) is unbeatable between the beach and the OTOP markets, and only a 10 minute walk to Bangla. Honestly could not understand the bad reviews for this hotel. But, when I now review them, and when I looked at the classic rooms in the older section when we were there (very small balconies) - well clearly they are older. No doubt a case of you get what you pay for, but all 6 of our rooms were fantastic, and we all wish we were still there......

I stayed in Burasari Patong with my friends for 7 nights and we loved the resort.
We stayed at the Elite room overlooking the pool, which was great, but I was a little sorry that we did not take a Thai Room collection. Also, other features were fantastic, the day-bed out on the balcony. We ate at the day-bed balcony, relaxing and enjoying after the dynamic filled days.
The hotel has a lovely calm environment which is often needed in crazy and busty Patong . The hotel has a distinct Thai feel and charm which was very enjoyable. Outstanding breakfast, especially a great omelet making in a specific way, it was very tasty, absolute recommendation! The choice is huge: hot breakfasts, fruit, cereals, pastries are all on offer.
The hotel provides a complimentary mini bar (soft drinks, bottled water, tea & coffee sachets (kettle in room) chips / crisps and a pack of biscuits) which was great.
lso the pool inside the hotel provides a soothing atmosphere, and it is nice to spend a quiet evening in a poolside bar.
Location of the hotel is great. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach. It would take roughly 10 minutes to walk to Bangla Rd / Jungceylon.
We experienced wonderful service from everyone we dealt with in the resort, from the reception area, to the porters, that the waiters! Very impressive! We always received warm, friendly and informative advice / service when required. Always a smile!
A real jewel in lively Patong, a mix of amazing beauty, a top location, relaxing atmosphere, quality and value for money. Must try! ...

“Choice location with HUMONGOUS beds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2012
This trip served as a graduation trip for me and I have to say the staff were quite accommodating to my needs prior to the visit. They informed me of good deals, tours etc. With such a good pre-trip experience, we were excited to go.
Room; We picked the premier pool excess room and were extremely surprised at the size of the bed! Super king maybe? Needless to say we didn't feel like leaving the room. We realized that the pool access room didn't provide much privacy as, well, we had to draw our curtains most of the time. But this just made us wish we booked the Elite pool access room instead.
The toilet was clean and looked updated. Doesn't make you afraid of what lurks in there. They provided complimentary minibar refreshments which consisted of 4 canned soft drinks and a can of beer plus one packet of Oreos, replenished daily if needed. Not exactly the best but hey, who needs more when there's abundant street food outside plus a 7-eleven store just adjacent to the hotel?
Staff; Staff was friendly and not the pretentious kind, then again, most of the other guests were friendly too! They'd smile when smiled at but one downer is that there is still a slight communication barrier but we pulled through.!
Advice; If you can afford it, get the hotel transfer. I know it's quite a difference from taking a minibus from the airport but it saves you all the hassle of finding a reliable one. You also get to skip the crowd!

“Possibly the BEST hotel resort in Phuket.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2012
The Burasari was not our first choice to stay at in Phuket but we were soooooo glad that the hotel we planned on staying at for the 6 nights couldn't accomodate us and we then had to opt out for the Burasari. IT IS BRILLIANT !!! From the moment that you get to the reception until the moment that you are checking out you are treated like a king or a queen. The staff are friendly, helpful, coureous and are down to earth with wanting to be so. I cannot recommend this hotel to highly. It is probably the best hotel in all of Phuket.

“Excellent Family Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2012
Great hotel. The staff were very friendly, great service. Loved the breakfast buffet, the omeletes were supurb! While sitting at breakfast, you feel like you are at a retreat, relaxing music, Thai ambience, very very relaxing. Elite pool side rooms are the best. Enter the pool from your deck and swim to the pool bar.
Close enough to hit the markets or visit Bangala Rd, though far enough away to be very quiet once you enter the hotel. Loved the Duck Red Curry in the restaurant and the Thai Fish cakes..yummo! Recommend this hotel as value for money. The Spa was excellent too.

“Boutique hotel with Thai feel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2012
This a lovely Thai styled hotel in the heart of Patong.Stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of our trip and at the Amari Coral at the end -will post a separate review. Our room was an upstairs Thai Elite with a view over the pool, beautifuly furnished and maintained. The pool and surrounds were very relaxing , enjoyed a kebab lunch cooked on the BBQ and drinks at the pool bar and the staff there were very efficient and obviously enjoyed their job. Breakfast was more than enough in the way of choice. We very much enjoyed our short stay here and if you are looking for a Thai feel hotel, in a great position in Patong, you can't go past this hotel.

“Boutique resort with a definite "Thai" feel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2012 NEW
This is boutique resort and as such, does not have the feel of a huge resort and spa. However, the rooms are really good. We were being upgraded from an Elite Thai to a Honeymoon Suite, and it is really wonderful, with private balcony, bath-tub in the balcony etc. It is essentially like a small private one room villa. The whole resort has a definite "Thai" feel to it, right from the lobby to the rooms to the breakfast area. The rooms looks a bit old though.
Service of the hotel is very good. Room facilities are excellent. Mini bar is replenished daily (free). Wireless internet complimentary. Breakfast is above average.
The location is the best part of this resort. It is situated just 100m from the main part of the Patong beach, and just around a 10 mins walk to the bangla road. So you have everything within a maximum 10 mins walking distance. The location just cannot get better than this!
If possible, go for the pool-access rooms, they seemed to me to be the best VFM rooms....
Room Tip: Go for the pool access rooms

“Take me back to Burasari!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2012 NEW
I stayed at the Burasari for several nights, in a twin share room. Absolutely loved my time there! The hotel is hidden away in such a busy little pocket of Patong Main Beach - you wouldn't even know that there was so much hustle and bustle happening a few metres away when lying by the tranquil pools inside.
The staff were very friendly and helpful during the course of our stay. Amazing breakfast buffet with a wide selection of choices & the room and poolside menus were also quite extensive.
There is free unlimited wifi through the hotel which is very convenient.
the rooms were spacious, fully equipped and we had full confidence in the safety of our belongings during our stay. Highly recommend! Will definitely be returning to the Burasari next time I travel to Phuket.
Room Tip: Would definitely recommend the pool access room for couples! looked very tranquil.

“Loved Burasari!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2012
I stayed in Burasari Patong with my husband for 7 nights and we loved the resort.
We initially had booked the classic room but it was a bit small and cramped so we had a fuss-free upgrade to a premier grand room which was fabulous.
It had such a large bed and was extremely spacious. Other nice features were the day-bed out on the balcony and the large bath-tub!
Also - the room was always spotless.
We experienced wonderful service from everyone we dealt with in the resort, from the reception area, to the porters, to the waiters! Very impressive! We always received warm, friendly and informative advice/service when required. Always a smile!
In addition - we loved Paxo, the resident African Grey Parrot!!
You couldnt ask for more with regard to the location of the hotel. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach. It would take roughly 10 minutes to walk to Bangla Rd / Jungceylon. Another great service is that there are many taxi drivers that hang out in front of the hotel which makes it extremely easy to organise taxi's during the day / night.
The hotel has a lovely calm environment which is often needed after being hassled on Bangla Rd or on the beach by the endless shop-keepers. The hotel has a distinct Thai feel and charm which was wonderful.
One critism I have is that the food and drinks were overpriced in the hotel, compared with the restaurants in Bangla.
I will definately recommend this hotel, we will certainly be returning!!

“Burasari you beauty!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2012
Stayed 7 nights at the Burasari and it was ideal for our needs. The Burasari is smaller than some of the big complexes popular in Phuket and this suits us perfectly, beautifully kept gardens, pool and Thai decore makes for a lovely escape. We stayed in a premier room which was clean and modern with king bed. Lovely inclusion is provision of free mini bar items each day - soft drinks, 1 can of beer and some nibblies. Breakfast included was really nice, with good range of choice. We loved the central location, close to beach and shopping, but able to retreat to your oasis for respite. Only drawback would be the pools are beautifully landscaped but don't provide much room for sun lounges, so access can be tricky - in that case walk 100 metres to Patong Beach where sunlounges are in abundance. Some rooms have balcony with day bed and direct pool access - maybe next time!!
Room Tip: for something special go for the pool access rooms

“Very nice resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2012
Burasari was wonderful. We stayed for 8 nights over new years in a Grand premier room. We initially were put in a room with a street view which was no hassle but we asked if there was anything overlooking the pool or garden (which wasn't guaranteed with our room choice) and they were very nice in switching us to a better room with a sun lounge with a garden view. The minibar gets stocked up for free every day, includes a view soft drinks, a chang, some oreos, and a coupe of packets of chips which was nice. Breakfast had a wide selection, we especially enjoyed the egg bar where chefs would cook eggs/omelets according to your liking.
The pool was very nice for a quick dip in the morning or relaxing on a lounge in the evening. The pool bar and misty's both made nice cocktails and delivered to your spot by the pool which was nice. The room service was also very good (we ordered a few late night burgers/pizzas after being on bengala road till the late hours). The tour desk is also very helpful in organising anything from island trips to shows or private drivers that take you wherever you want to go for 5-6 hours. Location was good, about 30m to the beach, away from the noise of bengala but close enough that it's only a 10min walk up there if you like that sort of thing. Also, there's a 711 about 10m away from reception which is super convenient.
The only downside I can think of to the hotel is that it's located down a small one way side street which is slightly hard to access for the tour minibuses so you may find the drivers dropping you on the main road rather than out the front of the hotel.
But in summary, great hotel, very friendly staff, great food, nice pool, great location.
Room Tip: Premier grand was great, ask for a garden view.

“You MUST Stay Here! Top PATONG accommodation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2012
This place is so GREAT...we stayed 6 nights and wished we'd stayed longer! The only bad reviews that I could understand are from people who booked the cheapie rooms and I guess you get what you pay for (I think this place has an older wing and was then expanded so maybe the older rooms arent as nice?). We booked a MOOD SUITE and it was AMAZING! There are only 9 of them and they are individually designed....a huge balcony with day bed and spa and also an extra sitting room inside with all the plush fittings. The aircon was great, had a double vanity sink and large bathroom, free mini-bar, tea/coffee, double wardrobes and plenty of storage. I would not have liked a Pool Access room as you can literally swim right up to them, hence no privacy to your outdoor area and the curtains would have to stay shut....but if you wanted to be near the pool with kids etc it would be suitable. The staff are sweet and helpful, their English could be better but its much better than my Thai! Location is also a huge plus, its near the Holiday Inn (so easy to find) but hidden on a side street. Only 50 meters walk to the beach and Beach Rd. Many little stores on the way including a 7-11, laundry, souvenirs, massage places and food. Once you're inside you feel fairly tucked away which is also nice as Patong in high season can be pretty hectic. Didnt use the pools much so cant make many comments but looked very pretty...not sure how much sun they get though as its quite lush and shady...we always went to the beach. Breakfast buffet had all the expected from western to asian and the egg station was super quick so there is something for every taste.
We did a day trip organised by the hotel (around $25 each) and went to their 'private' beach. Its not that private (could accommodate 150 people) but was a lovely little cove for safe swimming and had beach chairs, snorkel, restaurant, clean toilets and only took 10mins to get there...a nice change from the same Patong views.
Room Tip: Pay for a MOOD Suite...you'll not regret it!

"excellent boutique hotel near the beach"
Recently stayed in Burasari resort with husband and 2 adult children. This Hotel has a great location and is just near Holiday inn and the Marriott in a sidestreet off Beach Rd. You feel like you have found a little oasis when you enter .There are two pool areas the ground floor rooms having direct access. Breakfast was very good as were the meals provided by room service. Their spa is a bit expensive by local standard but the quality of the service, hygiene standards and ambience made it a worthwhile investment for my daughter and I. This resort is ideal for couples or travellers with older children who like the experience of boutique resorts with a regional feel. I would recommend a pool access room . |
