Phou Si Buddha's Relies : Mount Phou Si is a hill that rises up from the centre of town where you can see the whole of Lung Prabang province and is an exquisite spot to watch the sunset.

The pathway up to Buddha’s Flelics is surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens where the national flower "Champa" are in full bloom. At the summit of Phou Si you will be struck by the variety of wonderfully preserved relics as well as ancient and new temples

Vat Xleng Thong or Temple of the Golden City is one of the most important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art. There are over twenty magnificent structures on the grounds and house beautiful Lan Xang art and a series of sculptures of the Flamakian-the ancient stories concerning the gods in the live of men. A sanctuary which contains an especially rare reclining Buddha, dating back to the 16th century. is decorated with pieces of glass telling the unique story of life forthe local Luang Prabang people. Towardsthe eastern gate stands the royal funerary carriage house, home to the funeral carriage and various urns for the members of the royal family.

Hor Pra Bang : is an enormous temple with exceptional examples of Lan Xang art. It was initially builttc preserve and protect PhaBang but as a result of changing political attitudes. it has never been completed to this day. (I cannot find anything on this so I justticlied it up)

National Museum of Luang Prabarig : the former Royal Palace was built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his lamily. The exquisite architecture of the building has a mixed of traditional Laotian motifs and French art styles. and above the entrance is a three-headed elephant with the sacred white parasol. the symbol of the Lao monarchy. There are a variety of royal religious objects on display in the large entrance hall with gilded statues cit religious and royal figures.
